Zen & Flow

Zen

Emphasizing the value of meditation and intuition.

Flow

To go from one place to another in a steady stream.

Meditation

A precise technique for resting the mind and attaining a state of consciousness that is totally different from the normal waking state.

I have mastered the concept of #Flow but still need lots of help with the #Zen piece. To help, I have been using #Headspace to clear my mind. My thoughts often drift but I am always able to bring them back into focus. I've realized how hard it is to ignore the everyday distractions. It takes work to drown out the noise.

How Can I Set The Stage To Find My Zen?

Have you tried using Sage or Smudging? The act of smudging is done with a smudge bowl or Abalone Shell with the appropriate herbs directly lit or burned on a coal or Charcoal Tablet. When using charcoal tablets, the bowl or shell should be filled with sand or a flat stone to prevent overheating the container. Smudging is also done with herbs tied in bundles called Smudge Sticks.

Sage comes in several varieties. Healers and herbalists typically use white sage, also known as California or bee sage, for burning. Common sage, lavender sage, blue sage, black sage, and other types each have their own unique qualities. For example, blue sage is used in cleansing and healing rituals, while desert sage is used for purifying and protection.

Zen & Flow is about finding ways to stay focused on your #SelfCare. Channeling your energy towards positivity and being able to reset after a tough week is important to your mental health. Think about using meditation practices to help gain balance in your everyday life. Your Zen & Flow will look different from others but keep striving to find it.
